I recently became religious after a long period of not being. My question on tafillin deals with when one can begin to unwrap the tefillin shel yad. I prayed at one Synagogue where some unwrapped the only the strap around the fingers and wrapped it around the hand at the Aleinu, and I have been at others where people a few people began to take them off at somewhere around that time. All of the people were Sephardic. How do Teimanim handle this, or do Teimanim wait until Shahhrit is over completed before removing or unwrapping tefillin? Thank you.
