Prayer in the ancient Tiklal Nusahh (Prayer gate):

As far as we return (repeat) to the ancient Yemenite prayer books/gates (Nusahhoth) we are discovering the prayer of our fathers in a uniform and very short Nusahh.

After the sixteen hundreds (the 16th century), Yeminite  Siddurim were very slowly penetrated by Spain (Sefard) and our Yemenite traditions and siddurim were influenced. Between the 16th century and on to the 19th century we find (found) siddurim that began to appear altered from a nusahh of prayer [that was] original to the Jews of Yemen.

“Every Torah scholar continued (or long) for himself according to a consideration of his knowledge a personal (individual) siddur (prayer book) and in his combined (integrated) between ancient Yemenite Siddurim and between works of kabalah, printed books and similar. This confusion existed so great until examinations of 20 to 500 siddurim were discovered (publicized), from out of the 17th centrury and 18th century there was almost no two siddurim alike “ (words of Dr. Moshe Gvra, “The wise of Israel of Yemen- Mahari”s”, 40)

The Question of questions is it to [possible] add (adding) mizmorim before the prayer and after, and not to damage a nusahh / siddur—is there a defect in this ?

There are a few answers about this:

It is preferable (better) shorten prayer with Kavanah (focus) then lengthen without kavana.

  1. It is better to shorten prayer with kavana then to lengthen prayer without Kavana.
