THE  MOTHER OF ALL ETHROGS
According to Talmudh, the "fruit of a beautiful (hadar) tree" refers to the Ethrogh's taste - which resembles that of the tree itself. Alternatively, הדר  can also refer to the fruit "which dwells," and "grows on the tree all year long."
The beauty of the JUICELESS Yemenite Ethrogh is that it satisfies both of these beauty requirements, and is thus TRULY MEHUDAR!

THIS YEAR, we have a limited number of pure Kosher Yemenite (galuth-grown) Ethroghim, that are in complete compliance with the law of "not being orlah" (B"H), and are available for PURCHASE (b'ezrath HaShem). In our humble assessment, the public should be more concerned about the signs (listed in the Talmud) used to identify ethroghim. Unfortunately, many people (in our times) seem more focused on using microscopes (to locate scratches), which are 100% permissible anyway. They do this because they mistakenly believe it makes it "MEHUDAR" (see previous paragraph). As was already stated, this is a common misconception. According to Oral Law, minor scratches (due to the natural growth of the tree) do not effect the kashruth or beauty of the ethrog at all, as is believed by some. Only "perforations" that go all the way through the fruit (or make prefeorations the size of four barley corns in size) can pasul an ethrog. Of course, holes that cause (even the slightest) part of the Ethrogh to be missing are posul.
