Instructions for Yom Kipur – Siyah Yerushalayim Siddur

On Erav Yom Ha Kipurim, it is a miswah upon all men to cut their hair and to wash. And we have a tradition (nohugu) to dunk in the Mikwah (ritual bath). On Eruv Yom HaKipurim, in antiquity, the tzibur prayed Minha before the Seudah Mafsachath., when it was said and groaned before the seudah.

All the people congregated to the Bet Knesset. If there was time, we said Parashath Akadah, pitom hagtorath, tehilah Dawith and prayed Minhah.

We have a tradition (nahogu) to pray the Minha prayer praying with one voice, as was established by the RMb"M. And thus it is written (by) Mahar”s.

And when finishing (the Amidahhh), the Tzibur blesses with “who blesses his people with peace”, something and says Widu (confession), and rises and says (quietly) yehu rason.  The footnote right below the blessing “blesses his people with peace” in the Amidahhh says”: the whole congregation  joins the Tsibur in one voice and the congregation whispers with him.

And if there is time the Shalach Sibur says Avinu Malkaynu hatanu lofawnachaw. Then Gaddish Tithgabal.

The sibur prays quietly and with repentence saying Wido (confession) in a whisper and with repentance, the Shalah Sibur does not say wido.

Go back to the house after Minha for the suadah suadah hamafsachath. Some word (vmsimin) before dark, then to (some word) begin upon the Kidish.
