The
7 Point Plan To Eliminate Christian Missionary Activity An Ancient Solution ?
Most of us realize how pandemic and
deceptive the missionary problem has become (both in and out of Israel)....but
what can we really do about it?
As the rapid spread and funding of missionary organizations continues to
rise (almost a total of 100 in Israel
by 2008), many anti-missionary organizations continue to pop-up or expand (to
meet the growing challenge). As it currently stands, we are not
out-gunned or resourced. However, this doesn’t really make a difference.
Throughout history, Israel
had to win wars with quality (not quantity). This case is no different than
it ever was before. This could be one of the greatest opportunities and
challenges we have ever faced. I believe that right now, there is an
unprecedented opportunity to permanently nail the (polemical) coffin shut -
once and for all. It only requires the following. Religious Jews must now
learn and spread the specific instructions and wisdom of our Torah - as it
applies to non-Jews. Even in these troubled times, when truth seems to be
failing...there is a strong hope in the Noahide
Laws. It can be argued that there has never been a time that required the
concerted, logistical and planned spreading of the Biblically-based Noahide laws - as there is right now. But can we muster
the strength and cooperation? We must!
Without fail, many of our counter-missionary organizations continue to
ignore the built-in safety valve, provided by the Torah itself. It is time
for that to change.
So what is the qualitative solution? What is the great equalizer?
The only way out is to teach our young kids (and adults) how to master &
spread the Noahide laws. There is no other way out!
By incorporating this into our standard curriculum (or even after-school
activities), this will solidify (in their own minds) the beneficial role that
non-Jews can (and must) play in this world. With a solid foundation in the Noahide system, the rejection of Christianity or Islam
will be a foregone conclusion. In addition, our own ancient "mission"
(made popular by bet-Hillel) will continue!
Before you starting kicking and
screaming, JEWS ALREADY HAVE THIS COMMANDMENT:
“Moses was commanded by the Almighty to compel all
the inhabitants of the world to accept the commandments given to Noah’s descendents.”(HichotMelachim: Mishneh Torah)
Specifically, non-Jews (living in Israel
and abroad) need to be bombarded with the message (that is recognized in
their Bible), that the Noahide covenant is eternal
and binding upon them today. Today's anti-missionaries are falling
into the same old historical traps. Two thousand years of polemics does not
work (either way).
Perhaps now is the time to do what the Torah says?
Specifically, we need the following seven items, to ensure our success:
We need to generate funding for the following projects:
Incorporate the
aggressive teaching of the Noahide laws into
the religious MM Data and Torani school system
of Israel
immediately. Jews must be taught about the ETERNAL non-Jewish covenant
that is incumbent upon the entire world.
To create laminated
cards (mostly in English and Arabic), listing the "eternal"
Biblical basis for the Noahide laws. These
cards should also include the Noahide laws
themselves. The punishment for idolatry and the rest should also be
described. This should be related to the establishment of the
messianic time period. We must make it clear (to non-Jews) that the Noahide Laws must be accepted first. Even though the
messianic times could happen (in unusual circumstances) at any time,
this must be stressed as G-D's eternal will. These cards should be
passed out to non-Jews - that may appear open. Even the minim and notzrim should receive them.
Work to pass
legislation that forbids Christian (or other) missionary activity. In
the same way that solicitors are restricted from soliciting, this must
become an illegal activity in Israel.
A constant bombardment
of the mainstream Israeli media (and the religious media) about the
eternal covenant that resides upon non-Jews.
When necessary, we
must go head to head with them in the public arena. Billboards,
internet, newspapers and all other forms of media must be utilized - to
the fullest of our ability. Protexia should
also be used to limit their influence. Make no mistake. This is a holy
war -with the survival of Torah at stake.
Open prayer sessions
should be held by more experienced Jewish leaders, which invite non-Jews
to publicly declare themselves to uphold the Noahide covenant. Signatures to this effect must be
collected and published. This should be started immediately. If they can
pray for our salvation (based on idolatry), we MUST PRAY with them, for
the true monotheistic salvation of this world.
