Bulletin 6 / The Antiquity of the Shami Nusahh in Yemen--VERY ROUGH TRANSLATION

The discovery (revelation) and identification of the Shami Nusahh came in late to Yemen, see in lengthy tracts "דברים כהוויתן" addition and edition  בעילום שם (Their Concealment) by Rav Yisaq Rasabi, and there (is a) collection of testimony of the sages of Yemen minor streams that bear witness upon this.

In these booklets, Rav Rasabi intentionally leaves out the the family names of Rav Yihhyeh ElQafah zs"L and rav Yihhyeh Albes zs"l. With the help of G-D devote (dedicate) yearning (some) bulletins about the Rasabi's way in law, in religious interpretation, in humility, and distortion in writings).

Between the 16 and until the 19th centuries we find siddurim start to appear that were altered (from the) original Nusahh Tefillah of the Jews of Yemen due to the entrance of the Shulhhan Arukh (the "Code of Jewish Law" ), sefaradi Siddurim and sefaradi kaballists to Yemen.

It is not possible to ignore (overlook) genuine and interesting conjecture of Rav and Jaon יוסף צוברי זצ"ל who long ago thought the RISHONIM (before the RMb"M) of Yemenite Judaism had a connection with Spanish Judaism and an acceptance (taking on) of traditions with limits (exceptions of) nusahh tefillah, the chanting in Torah and minhogim.

[THEY SAY]: With the appearance of the RMb"M and because of the his exceeding influence on Jews of Yemen and his change from his fathers traditions the rishonim started to act according to the rulings of the RMb"M and his arrangements.

Soon together there (or people) arrived in progression, they were distracting, Shulkhan Arukh, Ha Ari (Kabbalist Yitzhaq Luria), and Sefaradi siddurim courting (alternative reading: returning) most of the Jews of Yemen to (for) original traditions and thus their original nusakhoth. (see introduction to Siddur Kanasath ha Jatholah Het"Aleph).

With forgiveness of honoring our Torah, for poor religious people these are not things that the Israeli medical association collected accurately for a few reasons:

Aleph: Most of the Sefaradi lands already acted according to the RMb"M from the time of the Rishonim. Also  הרא"ש (end of the 13th century):

"Most of the Sefaradi lands ruled and judged according to רי"ף (Rabbi Yitzchak Alfasi/ The "RIF") and sefer haRMb"M zs"l ((שו"ת הרא"ש, כלל לב, א). "

"Therefore what most of the collection scribe (recorder) of former times arrive of the RMb"M act according to sefer halakha of the Rif".
